Jenifer, I see you only have a couple more weeks until your vacation to Walt Disney World!
Disney Springs has become a hotspot in the Orlando area for shopping, entertainment, and dining. It's almost become a theme park onto itself!
The Edison opened just over a year ago to great anticipation, and it has provided some long-awaited adult nightlife to the area. It has a great steam-punk vibe and is themed to look like it's a 1920's electric company. It's a great family friendly lunch and dinner spot, but at 10:00 PM it turns into a 21-and-over space only. On Thursday- Saturday nights, there's entertainment just for grown-ups, including contortionists, aerialists, tap dancers, and a live band. There used to be a $10 seasonal cover charge, but when I checked the Walt Disney World website, there was no mention of it, it did, however, mention a dress code. If you'd like more information, try calling The Edison directly at (407) 560-WATT or (407) 560-9288.
If you're just there for there for the entertainment, no reservations are needed, but you might consider getting a later dinner reservation around 9:00 PM- you can book it online or by calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE. My sister-in-law was there recently, and she recommends the Organic Tomato Soup and Gooey Grilled Cheese. I've also heard great reviews of Clothesline Candied Bacon, which come to your table in an electrifying presentation!
Watt ever you decide to do, Jenifer, I hope you are de-
light-ed with your experience!
