    I need a recommendation for an itinerary for my family of 4. I have a girl who is almost 6 when we visit and an almost 10 boy.year old boy. We are contemplating a stay at the Port Orleans and will arrive 3/23/13 and depart 3/28. Can you recommend a plan?

    So I think that Port Orleans is great. The boat ride to Downtown Disney is slow, but sometimes we need to slow down on vacation, and that is as scenic a way to do it as you can!

    So here is what I would do;

    • March 23 - Arrival Day (see below)
    • March 24 - Magic Kingdom
    • March 25 - Animal Kingdom
    • March 26 - Epcot
    • March 27 - Hollywood Studios
    • March 28 - Magic Kingdom
    • March 29 - Departure Day
    Arrival Day: Rather than hit a park, plan a fun dinner out! Maybe Chef Mickey's, or Whispering Canyon Cafe. Something to really set the mood for the trip.

    Departure Day: If you have time for more parks, go back to the Magic Kingdom. There is always more to do there, and it is a nice way to put an exclamation point on the end of your vacation!
