Do I need to purchase a ticket for my soon-to-be 3 year old if he is turning 3 around the time of our visit?

Welcome to planDisney, Kongkear, and thanks for this great question. Unlike Peter Pan, our little ones have to grow up. My Lost Boy is now a young man who borrowed my car last week! But he still enjoys Disney vacations, and I hope he never outgrows that. So now, let's see what the policy will be for your son on your upcoming Disneyland Resort visit.

I spoke to a Neverland Cast Member who said all guests ages three and over must have a Theme Park Ticket, so if your son is sprinkled with birthday pixie dust before your trip starts, he will need his own ticket. Like a big boy! Once you know your dates, you can purchase tickets for the days he'll be three. My son's first visit to Walt Disney World Resort was right before he turned three; that trip holds some of my favorite memories. I'm thinking happy thoughts that your family has a memorable time, too!

Your little guy will surely enjoy the newly reimagined Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland Park. A few of my panelist friends visited recently and have great tips for youngsters. For example, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway looks like a fabulous attraction for young ones since there's no height or age requirement. Just watch out for Goofy; he's not the greatest train conductor!

Kongkear, I hope your next visit has you flying past the second star on the right, straight on till morning! And stop by planDisney anytime. Here we goooooo!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
