Hello, Ruth! Thank you for sending me your question through the planDisney website. I'm honored to be of assistance!
First and foremost, thank you for your dedication to helping to improve the lives of children in the Miami Gardens community. The world needs more people like you! Walt's mission was to create a clean, safe, and friendly place where adults and children could have fun together, and I think this is the perfect place for a field trip.
I recommend starting with
Student Group Ticket Sales, which is run through a division called Disney Imagination Campus. Their numbers are (321) 939-7560 or (407) 828-3200 option 6, and they are open Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. You can also visit their website to request more information; when you get to the drop-down menu, select Disney Field Trips. The Cast Member I spoke with mentioned that your arrival must be 60 days or later to be considered for tax-exempt status.
You can also try the
Group Sales Department at (407) 939-1942. Typically, non-profit organizations pay all the taxes upfront when purchasing through this department. Then, when they arrive, they present a copy of their Florida Consumer Certificate of Exemption at any
Guest Relations location to request reimbursement of taxes already paid.
For large youth groups, I always recommend having a few adults in charge of managing the kids on the
My Disney Experience app. While you can have up to 25 profiles on one account, ideally, you'll want to split the kids into at least three groups. Please feel free to
write me back if you need any help setting up your account and adding the kids through your
Family & Friends list.
Best of luck to you, Ruth! If you need anything else, you know where to find us. I hope you have a magical day with Mickey!
