Hi Katie,
While all of us become children again when we arrive at Disney World, kids under the age of three years old are considered guests of Mickey Mouse!
Children under the age of 3 do not require theme park tickets, reservations, or any kind of identification. You just bring them along with you on the adventure of a lifetime. All of the members of your party will require
theme park tickets and theme park reservations when required (only Annual Passholders or non-date-based tickets.)
The other perk of bringing a child under the age of 3 is that they also eat free at select buffet or family-style locations. When my kids were little, we loved taking advantage of this at
character dining experiences. The big perk is that you also get some amazing pictures of your little one with their favorite Disney characters.
'Ohana breakfast is super kid-friendly because you get to meet Stitch and Mickey and dance through the restaurant with them to fun island music.
Since you will be bringing a little one with you, keep in mind that you can also
rent strollers at the entrance to each of the theme parks if you don't want to carry one with you. We loved this option because we did not always travel with a stroller or want to worry about it all day long. Disney also offers
Baby Care Centers that came in super handy for us on many occasions when our little ones needed to be fed, be changed or take a little nap. They are also completely equipped with baby food, diapers, and anything else you might have forgotten at home.
Happy Planning
Jenna
