I will need to pump while at DW w/o my child. Is there a place I could store my machine? Is there a refrigerator I could store my milk or would I need to throw it away?

    Hi Kellie,

At the Walt Disney World Resort, traveling is super convenient for families of all kinds. I can assure you that you'll be able to pump while you're away from your little Mouseketeer and be able to store your milk if you'd like.

Guests are welcome to keep small backpacks with them throughout the day, so depending on the size of your pump, you may be able to just keep it with you. If you'd prefer, you may also rent a locker when you first arrive at the theme parks and store your machine there. I'd also suggest bringing a small cooler and ice packs with you to store your milk while you're at the theme parks, which you may also keep with you or in the locker. You'll find that many Disney Resort hotel rooms have a refrigerator in them for storage after you leave the theme parks, and if you're staying at a Resort that doesn't, you may call housekeeping to see if they have one available.

I also wanted to let you know that you'll find Baby Care Centers in all four theme parks. They make a wonderful place to nurse or pump, and you'll even find electrical outlets in the nursing rooms if your pump requires electricity.

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kellie, and have a magical vacation!
