    Do i need a password to use my magic band for charging?? and if so how do I change it or find out what it is??

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

    MagicBands truly changed how we vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort.  I love being able to leave my resort hotel room with just my MagicBand and having the power to enjoy my entire day without having to worry about anything else (except maybe some sunscreen).

    Cynthia, when you check-in at your resort hotel for the first time, the Cast Member assisting you with check-in will allow each member in your party to assign a 4 digit Personal Identification Number (or PIN) to their MagicBand.  When you scan your band for charging, you must enter your PIN. 

    Alternately, you can do this in the My Disney Experience app as well.  Click on the hamburger menu in the lower right hand corner (it's three lines stacked on top of one another), then My Profile, then MagicBands and Cards.  You should see a blue bar that says Reset PIN.
