Ahoy, Ilse Anita!
Welcome aboard to planDisney! Thank you for sending in your question about a
Mediterranean sailing with Disney Cruise Line. The
European itineraries offer some amazing ports of call to visit, all while only having to unpack once! You'll be able to enjoy multiple adventures ashore and come back to your ship destination for delicious
dining, fabulous
entertainment, and your
favorite Disney pals. I find it such an easy way to travel because of all these offerings and more. And a Disney Cruise Line ship is always the prettiest in port, so it's the perfect backdrop for some fun photos when you venture off.
Ilse Anita, having the right travel documentation is an important piece to the puzzle when planning your vacation with Disney Cruise Line. All nationalities must travel with a valid passport when sailing in Europe, and these passports must not expire for at least 6 months after your cruise ends. Visas may also be required for cruises out of
Barcelona and
Civitavecchia, depending on your nationality. The
travel documentation page is a great resource as you begin to plan what you will need to board your Disney Cruise Line ship.
I love that Disney Cruise Line spends time in Europe every year, so I hope you'll take advantage of this magical opportunity so close to home. Please feel free to reach out again if you have any other questions about vacationing with Mickey. We are always happy to help and steer you in the right direction.
Have a wonderful day and happy planning,
Nancy
