Do you need a passport for the Caribbean cruise since it stops in Mexico? Thanks for the help

Welcome to the Moms Panel, Maggie!

Planning a magical voyage to the Caribbean with Disney Cruise Line is an exciting time! By preparing ahead of time, your experience will be even more enjoyable!   Disney Cruise Line strongly suggests that each Guest travel with a passport, but on a closed loop cruise (starting and ending in a U.S. port) birth certificates are acceptable.  U.S. citizens are required to have a passport to travel by air so if an unforeseen circumstance occurs while you are in Mexico, you will need your passport to fly home.  The Passport Information on the Disney Cruise Line website has the specific information you need to apply to obtain your documentation.

Please let me know if you have any other questions prior to setting sail.  I'd love to help!

    Have a wonderful day!
