Hi there, Nicole. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I love that you want to explore the magic at all areas of the
Disneyland Resort, and I'm happy to say that you are more than welcome to visit the lobbies, gift shops, and restaurants of the
Disneyland Resort hotels without being a registered hotel guest or
Magic Key holder.
At
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, enjoy a sweet treat at the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart. Then, take in the Craftsman-style architecture, enjoy the ambiance of live piano music, and feast your eyes on some of the seasonal decor. Right now, the hotel's Great Hall features a spooky, scary Snow White Evil Queen display that is breathtaking. If you are looking for a longer visit, consider booking a service at
Tenaya Stone Spa. My planDisney pals
Jenna,
Susan, and I did this on a recent girls' trip, and I can't recommend it enough!
At
Pixar Place Hotel, check out the Pixar merchandise at STOR-E, see if you can spot Joe Gardner from Soul playing the piano, and give your friend who likes to play (Bing Bong, Bing Bong) a hug during one of his character appearances. Also, Great Maple Modern American Eatery has a
delicious menu, featuring Fried Chicken & Doughnuts, which my husband and I love to share!
Last but not least, the
Disneyland Hotel features classic and contemporary features. I love visiting
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar for a light lunch or cocktail, but if you have young ones (or someone young at heart) consider making an advanced dining reservation for
Goofy's Kitchen. It is one of the best character dining meals at the resort and is worth a spot on your must-do list. The gift shops at the Disneyland Hotel, are also some of my favorites; they have vintage-inspired merchandise that you can't find inside the
theme parks.
Nicole, whether it's a quick stroll or a spa day, please enjoy the amenities that the Disneyland Resort hotels have to offer every Guest. If you have any other questions, please visit again.
I'd be happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
