Do I need a Park ticket to enter park if I have a dinner reservation? We are traveling during the day so didn't purchase a park ticket but wanted to eat dinner at Epcot, so wondering if I need to purchase a park ticket?

    Hi Jocelyn,

Guests must use an admission ticket any time they enter the theme parks - even if they're just having dinner or just shopping.

You should keep in mind that for longer stays, it only costs a few dollars to add an extra ticket day. For example, if you have a nine-day ticket and want to make it a ten-day ticket, then your incremental cost to upgrade will only be about $8. This make make having dinner at Epcot worth it. On the other hand, the cost of adding a third day to a two-day ticket is much higher - probably not worth the extra money just for a meal.

If you decide not to use a ticket day to eat at Epcot, remember that there are plenty of great options at the resort hotels and at Downtown Disney. None of those restaurants require use of an admission ticket to dine.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
