Hi there Shannon,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for visiting us today. How exciting that you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short months! You know, it's never too soon to fire up a fun vacation countdown, and build that anticipation. Having a Disney countdown is one of my favorite things!
I'm happy to reassure you that you will not need to make any
theme park reservations. It sounds like you have booked a Disney Vacation Package, which includes both a Disney Resort and theme park tickets. These are date based, and do not require you to make any theme park reservations.
Now you can focus on other magical planning... like making some special
Disney Dining reservations to look forward to! You an make an advance dining reservation starting 60 days prior to your check in date, beginning at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Do you have any ideas in mind? Allow me to share some of my favorites, as I believe some of the best vacation memories come from magical dining experiences! My all time favorite that my family visits every trip is
'Ohana. The food is so delicious! We really enjoy riding the monorail to the Polynesian Resort, soaking in the lovely tropical ambiance, and watching Magic Kingdom's evening fireworks from the restaurant windows. My second favorite is
Boma - Flavors of Africa, where I recommend you arrive early and before sundown so you can enjoy a little animal watching on the savannah before feasting.
Shannon, I'll be wishing upon a star for you to have the best. Trip. Ever!! Please
visit me again at planDisney if I can help with any other pixie-dusted ideas for your trip, or answers to your questions.
The magic is calling!
Tami
