Do you need a park pass or have to be staying at the hotel to eat at the storey teller cafe?

    Hi Kayla!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Cafe is one of my families favorite Character Dining Experiences at Disneyland Resort!

For dining locations inside of Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you must have a valid ticket for entry.  Any dining locations in a Disneyland Resort hotel or Downtown Disney District, can be enjoyed without a ticket for entry. As Storytellers Cafe is in one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa, you do not need a ticket to enjoy the delicious fare. If you enter the hotel from the main entrance of Disneyland Drive, a Cast Member may stop you to ask if you are staying at the hotel. If you let them know that you are not staying there, but do have a valid dining reservation, you should have no problem with entry. I usually have my Disneyland Mobile App ready to go to confirm the dining reservation to them. If you enter the hotel from the Downtown Disney District entrance, you will have not need to provide any proof of dining reservation.

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit! Please come back if we can help in any other way.
