Hello, Jacqueline!
Thanks for cruising by with your question!
Guests need a
valid ticket and a theme park reservation for the specific day they plan to visit the parks. Purchasing
parking is only necessary if you plan to park a vehicle in one of the resort lots for the day. If you'd like to be dropped off (who doesn't love being the passenger princess?) then there are two locations for you to choose from:
- To visit the Downtown Disney District you can take Magic Way from Disneyland Drive, then turn left at Downtown Drive and follow the signs you'll see for the drop-off area. There is a 15-minute grace period to drop off guests before you'll be charged standard parking rates.
- For the theme parks, you'll want to use the area accessed by traveling southbound on Harbour Boulevard. You will see the drop-off area on your right, it's between South Manchester Avenue and Disney Way. You can see it marked on the map at the bottom of this page.
I've used ride-share apps to reach both of these areas many times, it's pretty easy! You're also welcome to have a friend or family member drop you off in these same locations.
Once you've arrived, you will proceed to the nearest security screening location (make sure you are familiar with the
Disneyland Resort Rules so you don't bring any items that will slow you down) and then it's time for fun!
Pixar Fest is still going strong at the resort, celebrating all the dynamic friendships that we love.
My panelist friends and I pulled together some of our favorite tips if you're curious about all the snacks, characters, and entertainment for the festival. I really love the special snack inspired by Luigi & Guido at the Cozy Cone Motel. Cheese tortellini, pomodoro sauce, and mozzarella in a bread cone? It's the perfect pit stop to keep your energy high!
Be safe while you race to the parks, Jacqueline!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
