Do I need to have the original debit card used to pay for me reservation at check in

Hiya, Tricia, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! You might be making your way to Walt Disney World Resort as we speak! I can't think of a better way to beat the winter blahs than by visiting Mickey and his pals. You're going to have a blast! But like my dad used to say, if we want to dance, we have to pay the piper.

While it's not usually required, I recommend bringing the card you used to book your Disney Resort Hotel. If you run into any hiccups at check-in, another form of identification can help resolve issues quickly.

However, the only card they typically ask for is the card you'd like to place on file for incidentals. This can be any valid card you choose and will be the one charged for purchases during your stay. If you have a MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile Service, you can use them to make purchases at theme parks and resorts; these charges will go directly to the card on file.

I typically use Online Check-In Service before I arrive. You'll answer a few questions online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app to bypass the front desk completely! You'll enter the credit card you'd like to use during your stay, along with your arrival time and contact information. When your room is ready, you'll receive a notification and can head straight there. It's like magic!

Tricia, I'm waving my Fairy Godmother wand to make all your wishes come true this week. Enjoy your time with Mickey...and the Florida sunshine! Feel free to pop back by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
