Hello Laura, and welcome to planDisney,
As you begin to plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, one thing to be mindful of is the changes that may occur. As of the date I write this to you,
Disneyland Resort does not require Guests to provide proof of a negative COVID test nor proof of vaccination; however, although a negative COVID test and vaccination are not a requirement to visit Disneyland Resort, the State of California highly encourages all Guests to be vaccinated and have a negative COVID test before arriving.
Additionally, as of today,
facial coverings are optional in most spaces yet still highly encouraged when indoors. Exceptions to the optional face-covering policy include Disney shuttles and when you're in a health-related setting like the
First Aid center; in these spaces, masks may be required for all.
Just like the status of the current global pandemic, policies at Disneyland Resort can and may change. Therefore, before your visit, I recommend that you review the
Experience Updates page to double-check what policies will be in place during your stay.
And while on the topic of health and safety during a Disney trip, I have a few packing tips for you and your party. First, I always bring with me a small bottle of hand sanitizer that clips on my backpack for ease of access. Sunscreen is another must on a Disney day to make sure I'm taking care of my skin. Lastly, I try to bring a re-fillable water bottle and fill it up at the various
drinking fountains and water stations throughout the resort; hydration is definitely a key to a successful trip.
I’m wishing you and your party a magical experience during your visit, and please come back to planDisney if there is anything else the panel can help with.
Have fun,
Lola
