Hey there, Bruce! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
How exciting that you managed to secure a reservation for a
Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Party! I can’t wait to see the all-new fireworks show designed especially for The Most Magical Celebration on Earth!
If you are planning to visit Magic Kingdom for your entire day of your dessert party, you will want to go ahead and make a park pass reservation for Magic Kingdom. But, if you intend to visit one of the other three theme parks for the day, and then simply hop over to Magic Kingdom for the fireworks and dessert party, you will need to make a park reservation for the other park.
I know the new park pass reservation system can be a little confusing. Just remember, you will always make a reservation for the park you want to BEGIN your day at. Then, starting at 2pm, you can park hop to any other park, as long as there is availability (I have never seen my second park NOT available).
I hope this helps with planning your trip to Walt Disney World in November! Be sure to take a quick detour over to
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see the Gingerbread House. I promise it will not disappoint!
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
