What will I need to do with my luggage upon Arrival at my resort boardwalk?

    Hello Elizabeth!

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas are an amazing choice for a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. As a Disney Vacation Club Member, Disney’s BoardWalk Villas is one of our Home Resorts and we love it for the gorgeous rooms and the fantastic location. Being able to walk to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios makes this resort perfect for my Star Wars obsessed teenagers. For me, there is nothing like an evening stroll with my family under the lights of Disney's BoardWalk.

I am a big proponent of early morning flights. I can usually get a better deal for my larger family, and then we still get almost a full day of vacation after arrival. I would recommend you complete Online Resort Check-In as soon as you are able, and during that process, you can put your estimated time of arrival. While the official check-in time for the Inn is 3 PM and the Villas is 4 PM, sometimes your room may be ready early.

With Online Resort Check-In, you will receive a text once your room is ready. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and your room may be ready upon arrival. If your room isn’t yet ready, you can leave your luggage with Bell Services. Once you walk into the lobby of the resort, go left toward the Check-In Desk, and you will see the Bell Services Desk. They will keep your luggage safe for the day and you can head off to the pool, the theme parks, or Disney Springs for a day of adventure! Once your room is ready and you return to the resort, you may either stop by Bell Services to pick up your luggage, or you can call Bell Services from your room phone to have it delivered. While this service is complimentary, I do usually tip. You can also use their services on the day you check out. Bell Services can hold onto your luggage after you check out of your room in the morning until you depart later in the day.

I hope this helps with your planning, Elizabeth! Please let us know if you have additional questions before your visit, we are here to help!
