All you need is a little faith, trust, and pixie dust...and this panel! I am torn between 2 breakfast reservations. Tusker house and Princess at Epcot. My DD6 is a strict vegetarian so I would like plenty of options for her.

This is a tough one. The standard food at the Princess breakfast at Epcot is a family-style skillet filled with scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, bacon and sausage. There is are also chocolate cinnamon buns and fruit served on the side. Disney will certainly accommodate a request for vegetarian dining, leaving the meats (and eggs if necessary) off the skillet. If your daughter is a huge princess fan and wants to have that princess experience, you could definitely have her eat at Akershus. If you want to do this, you should call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE and inform them of your dietary needs. They will be able to tell you what food substitutions are available. They will also make a note in your file. Additionally, you should remind the hostess at the restaurant podium and your server about your need for vegetarian dining.

If your daughter is only moderately interested in the princesses, then it might be easier for you to eat at Tusker house. Donald, Daisy, and Goofy run a great meal here with lots of choices. I would still call Disney Dining to let them know about your vegetarian needs, but you will have many more food options with the large buffet served here. If you ever have any questions about an item on a Disney buffet line, just tell your server and they will have a chef come out from the kitchen to describe the ingredients. This seems like it would be a big deal, but it is most definitely not. They do it all the time and are happy to help guests have the best possible dining experience.

    Have a great trip!
