I need to know FOR SURE that I am going to have to pack my own beach towels to go to the water parks, even tho I am staying Old Key West and bought the tickets to allow me in to a water park, unless I rent them. I'm flying with restrictions on luggage.

    Hi Thalia,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You must be getting very excited as you count down the days to your next Pixie Dusted Disney Parks vacation!

I completely understand your concern about your luggage restrictions. While you can bring your own beach towels, you also have a few other options that might work a little better for you.

First, you can rent towels at either of the two Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks. Currently, the cost for a towel rental is just $2 each. Also, towels are available for purchase in most Walt Disney World Resort Hotel shops. Finally, you could conceivably bring along the towels from your Disney Vacation Club Villa, but you would need to remember to bring those back with you to avoid a charge.

If you decide to either pack your towels or purchase your own, you might consider leaving them behind through the super convenient Owners Locker service. Through this, you are given a large purple storage bin where you can store any of the items that you normally bring to Orlando for you Walt Disney World Resort vacations. This service will pick up your "locker" and store it offsite in a temperature controlled facility until you need it next. Just let them know when you will arrive next, and your Owners Locker will be waiting for you at Bell Services. This would be an excellent place to stash your towels, extra sunscreen, bottled water, and more. You can find more information at Ownerslocker.com.

I hope that helps lighten the load! Please let us know if we can help with anything else, Thalia!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
