I need to know how to look up when kids are going to do their sport events during the year. want to avoid those weeks because I am a senior citizen, thanks

    Hi Susan!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help plan all of the details of Walt Disney World vacations!

While there is never a bad time to visit Walt Disney World, I like to pick the less busy times of the year as well. My best rule of thumb is to plan visits during the typical school calendar year. For example, September is a great month to visit as most U.S. schools have returned to school for the Fall.

Additionally, Walt Disney World does host a number of sporting, cheer leading, and dance teams throughout the year as well. Generally, these events are mostly located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, with little spill over into the parks. If you'd like to consider these events when you pick your vacation days, please visit the complex's events calendar to learn about future sporting events.

I hope this helps you pick the dates for your future Walt Disney World vacation! Good luck!
