Need help selecting best room (Deluxe or Deluxe Villa) with the best location to Magic Kingdom+toddler activities (play area, kids pool). Also interested in 2 bathroom Deluxe options since we will be traveling with 3 adults and 2 children (3 yr; 14y) Thnks

Hi, Jennifer!  With your wish list in mind, I'd say you might want to consider either the Contemporary Resort or Bay Lake Tower, which is adjacent to the Contemporary.  You will have easy access to the Magic Kingdom via the monorail, which runs right through the Contemporary, or a walking path that will have you in the park in about five minutes.

The Contemporary is super convenient with children.  With a slide and a children's play area, complete with fountains and sprinklers, the pool area is a great place to spend some time when you are away from the parks.  There are also arcade games, basketball and volleyball for the kids to enjoy.  Chef Mickey's, one of the most popular character dining experiences, is inside the Contemporary, and there are plenty of shopping and other dining experiences.

Bay Lake Tower, part of the Disney Vacation Club, offers villas with full kitchens, washer and dryer, jacuzzi tub in the master bath, and you can opt for a two bedroom villa, which will give you an extra full bathroom and another bedroom with two beds, in addition to a fold out sofa in the living room.  The pool here has another adorable kids area, as well as a slide.  You'll find ping pong tables, bocce ball, and other activities that you can enjoy near the pool.

You can access the amenities at the Contemporary through a connection between the two resorts.

If the Contemporary theme isn't your thing, you'll find quick Magic Kingdom access from the Polynesian Resort or the Grand Floridian.  I prefer the Polynesian pool for kids, but both resorts are amazing.  These resorts do not have villa style accommodations, but suites are available to accommodate larger parties.

    Have a great vacation!
