I'm so excited to hear that you're making plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort with your family! To me, planning for my magical vacation is almost as much fun as being on vacation. I would love to help you with the first steps of planning! Let me just grab my magic wand...

First, you'll want to book your vacation package. Decide on your dates, which Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'd like to stay at, and your theme park tickets for the Guests in your travel party. You can even take a look at the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page to see if you're eligible for any special rates!
Once you've purchased your tickets, be sure to make your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to make sure that you've reserved the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. I'd suggest making these reservations as soon as you're able! And check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to take a peek at the available parks for your desired dates.
Mark your calendar! 60 days prior to arrival, you'll be able to make your advance dining reservations. There are so many delicious dining locations at all of the parks and within the resorts. My best tip is to make sure that the locations you're choosing are in, or close to, the park you're visiting that day! My favorites are Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs, Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park, and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT.
After you've done the above steps, take some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! A little like holding a magic wand in your hand, you'll be able to use this app to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. This is a great way to make sure your meals and snacks are ready before you ever feel a rumbly in your tumbly!
