We need help with planning our honeymoon. We want to visit DisneyWorld, but also want to rest and have some beach/pool days after. We don't know where to start the planing. We don't know where to stay or when! Is March a good month?

Hi Daniela and welcome to planDisney! I can’t think of a more magical place than the Walt Disney World Resort to enjoy your honeymoon! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

February and March offer up some great weather in Orlando. You don’t have to worry about afternoon showers or very hot weather. During the day, you can expect it to be around 74 degrees Fahrenheit. It is perfection!

When it comes to planning, I would start browsing the Deluxe Disney Resort Collection hotels. My top pick for a honeymoon would be Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It offers up incredible restaurants on-site and picturesque views of Bay Lake and Cinderella Castle. Did you know that the Magic Kingdom Park is the first stop on the monorail when you’re traveling from this resort? It’s so convenient!

I suggest reaching out to a travel agent near you for some help when it comes to booking your special vacation. They can help with transportation, Disney Resort Collection hotel bookings, theme park tickets and they will be up to date on the latest special offers available to you during the dates of your stay. Mickey and his friends offer promotions several times a year!

Daniela, I hope this information is helpful to you as you start to plan your visit for next year. If you need some more planning advice, don’t hesitate to come back to see us here or follow us on Instagram. We love sharing our advice with you!

    Have a magical visit!
