    I need help planning Disney!!!

Hi, Karla, and welcome to planDisney! Visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth is amazing, and proper planning can mean the difference between a fun visit, and a life-changing experience! Let's get you started down the path to the best trip ever.

Walt Disney said that his theme parks would never be complete; that they would always be changing and growing. That's what keeps Disney trips fresh and magical for all generations! That also means that the tools used to plan trips to Walt Disney World Resort are also changing and improving every day. And although that's wonderful, it can also make the planning process a bit challenging at times. Luckily, you've found us at planDisney, so let's jump right in.

I think the best strategy is to decide on some basic information. First, come up with a budget for your trip because that will help you decide where to stay and for how long. Consider travel costs, accommodation prices, and the number of theme park tickets when you're making your budget.

Once you've done this basic legwork, then the fun really begins! Spend some time exploring the My Disney Experience App or the official Walt Disney World Resort website. You can compare resort prices, see theme park ticket options, check out the events calendar, and more.

One of the aspects of a Disney vacation I love the most is that no two trips are the same. There are dozens of resorts to choose from at various price points, and once I have my budget and dates, my first goal is to secure my resort and theme park tickets.

Karla, please don't get overwhelmed with the options and steps in planning your visit. I promise it will all fall into place with just a little research on your part. Once you have some of these basics ironed out, please come back to planDisney and we can talk about the next steps in the planning process like making theme park reservations and booking your dining. To paraphrase my favorite villain, Ursula, "Planning is what we do. It's what we live for!"

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine

Like Yoda would say, "Trips, we will plan!" Learn More About Elaine
