Hello moms, I need help with our planning. We arrive 10/2/2012 MCO @ 11 am depart 10/9 @ 12 pm. Staying at ASSport first 5 nights then CBR 2 nights. Chef Mickey res made for 10/4 @ 10:25 am @ Contemporary. First visit for my wife and 7 yr old stepson. TY

Hi, John!  I'm not quite certain what type of help you need, but I'm going to lay some advice on you.  If I'm totally off the mark, just send me a message, and I'll get you sorted out!

Okay, so, you don't mention how many days of passes you have, but if you are arriving at the airport at 11 AM, you should be at your resort by around noon.  I might try to visit the park that has evening extra magic hours, especially if it's Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, where you might be able to get a full day in at the theme park.  You might also want to visit the park that's open the latest, so you get the  most amount of time you can.

On the day you go to Chef Mickey's at 10:25, try to make that a Magic Kingdom or an EPCOT day.  That way, you'll be able to head into the park when it opens, then around 9:30, you can hop on the monorail and head over to the Contemporary Resort for your dining reservation.

As for the other days, it's going to depend on how many theme park days you want to do - and if you want to do a water park or spend some time at Downtown Disney, which your wife might really enjoy.  You may even want to check out Disney Quest with your son.

I hope this helps you get started laying out your itinerary!
