Hey there, Russ! Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask your question about your March visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Since you have a resort reservation, you can begin making your dining reservations online at
MyDisneyExperience or on the MyDisneyExperience mobile app 60 days before you arrive.
If you are unable to make reservations at any of your desired locations, do not fear! I have recently found that making reservations while actually ON my Walt Disney World vacation has been very successful.
I would like to tell you about some of my favorite restaurants that I feel are slightly easier to find a reservation at.
Olivia’s Café at Disney’s Old Key West Resort – ANY meal, any time, I have never been disappointed. I love the Olivia’s breakfast and the banana bread French toast, plus this restaurant is one of the most affordable restaurants on property. The Caesar salad with shrimp is always fresh and one of my favorites.
Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House – the BEST breakfast buffet in all of Walt Disney World. There are SO many amazing choices, plus Passion Orange Guava (POG) juice, this restaurant is a must-do for our family. This is a great option for a day spent at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.
Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – all-you-care-to-eat breakfast skillets, a bison burger for lunch that is to DIE for, and family skillets of meat for dinner, no one leaves here hungry. Plus, it’s a boat ride from Magic Kingdom and the resort is also gorgeous.
Trattoria al Forno on Disney’s Boardwalk – Italian food prepared in an open kitchen. This restaurant has fun breakfast pizza and traditional Italian food for lunch or dinner. It is also a quick walk from EPCOT or a boat ride from Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
I have also found that
mobile ordering from the quick service locations within the Disney theme parks has been a game-changer. I love that I can be standing in a queue and decide that I’d like to eat after we ride, look at a menu, order my meal, and it is essentially ready when I get there. No more waiting in a long line to order and then another long line to pick up my food. I love this option so much.
I hope this helps to give you some dining ideas for your March vacation.
Happy Traveling (& eating!),
Tracy
