Need help for hotel for marathon weknd Jan., booked stuido @ BLT (dvc points), but with 3 adults & 2 children, I think it will be too small. Don't have enough points for a one bedroom, is there anywhere else we could stay with a bigger room for same po

    Hi Amanda,

I love going to the Disney Marathon and cheering on the runners! My husband has run the full twice and the half once and he has loved each race.

I have stayed in a studio with three adults and two children and I really did not feel cramped. Of course, we do not spend much time in the room so for my family it was fine. This was at Port Orleans Riverside and the Boardwalk. However, the studios at Bay Lake Tower studios are about 300 square feet and slightly smaller.

I can think of a few options for you. Try switching to the Boardwalk or Old Key West which have slightly larger studios and even a day bed in some rooms. Or you could borrow points from another year to make up the difference or pay cash for the extra points. You can look at the DVC website to see which resort have the lowest points.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
