Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    I need HELP with my dining itinerary! We will have the DDP. We are staying at AKL. This will be our first time with the kids DS8 DD5 Dec. 1-6, 2013. We will be at MK 2 days and the other parks 1 day, I want to do 1 CM. We are going to the MVMCP! Thanks!

    Since you are on the dining plan, I am going to recommend 1 table service dinner and 1 counter service lunch per day. Here is where I would go in the parks (or nearby);

    Magic Kingdom (2 days)
    Table: Be Our Guest & either Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge) or 'Ohana (Polynesian)
    Counter: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn, Columbia Harbor House

    Animal Kingdom
    Table: Breakfast at Tusker House (character breakfast)
    Counter: Flame Tree BBQ
    NOTE: This is the day to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

    Hollywood Studios
    Table: 50s Prime Time Cafe
    Counter: The stands along Sunset Boulevard

    Epcot
    Table: Via Napoli (Italian), Biergarten (German buffet), Chefs de France, or Rose & Crown (UK)
    Counter: Food stands in the Epcot World Showcase

    On the evening that you go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, AVOID having a big dinner. You don't want to sit at the dinner table during party hours. That is why I would go to the party on the day that I went to the Animal Kingdom, as that park closes early typically.

    If you prefer bigger breakfasts, I can recommend an alternative schedule. Boma in your hotel is a great breakfast destination. Also, if like us you prefer to spend afternoons at the resort pool you can have counter service lunches at Mara. This Animal Kingdom Lodge food court has great food and is next to the pool.
