Hi Kelly,
There is nothing better than looking out the monorail windows or over the balcony of the ferry boat and seeing Magic Kingdom get closer!
I remember the horror of trying to fold up that big stroller while watching all of the people around me waiting. I am sure you are much better with it than I was, but it can still feel like a chore. You are correct that when you enter
bus transportation, you will be required to pack up that stroller and get your kids situated before the bus takes off. Fortunately, that will not be the case on the
monorail or the Magic Kingdom ferryboat. You are welcome to roll that big stroller right onto the monorail and keep it fully loaded up with your children and supplies for the day. Although it isn't required, I do recommend having your kids jump out of the stroller and sit on the seats provided if they can because the monorail is my favorite ride!
Keep in mind that although folding that stroller up may be a nuisance, you will be adding an extra step to your day by driving to the theme parks. My favorite thing about Disney World is that I do not have to drive the whole time I am there. If you take the bus to Magic Kingdom, you will not have to take a monorail or ferry boat. The bus stop is steps away from the entrance to Magic Kingdom and although less convenient from a stroller folding perspective, this will likely be the quickest and easiest way to get from your resort hotel to the Magic Kingdom.
If you don't want to worry about bringing a stroller at all, you can
rent one at the entrance to each of the theme parks. This is my favorite way to travel because it allows me to be completely free when traveling between the theme park and my resort hotel. They have large double strollers available and you don't have to worry about messing up your nice one.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
