Hi Janneth! Welcome to planDisney!
You've come to the right place when searching for information about planning a trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! It seems like every time I turn around there are new and exciting changes coming to Walt Disney World Resort so I can understand why you're looking for the latest and greatest news. With four Theme Parks, two Water Parks,
over 25 Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and the shopping, dining and entertainment district of Disney Springs there's definitely a lot of information to take in!
When you're ready to purchase your Theme Park Tickets you and your party will want to decide if you would like to visit one Park per day with a Standard Theme Park Ticket, multiple Parks per day with the
Park Hopper Option, one Park per day plus a certain number of visits to Water Parks and sports-related options like golf or miniature golf courses with the Water Park and Sports Option OR the Park Hopper Plus Option where you'll be able to visit as many Theme Parks in a day as you would like as well as extra visits to the Water Parks and sporting areas.
Theme Park Tickets will include entry into the four Theme Parks:
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If you have less than four days to play and choose a Standard Theme Park Ticket you may not be able to see them all, but that's just a good reason to return for another trip in the future! If you've chosen to purchase an option that includes entry into the
Water Parks you will have access to
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park (temporarily closed but hopefully open for your next vacation!).
Right now, all Guests need both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a
Theme Park Reservation to enter their first Park of the day, so make sure you start planning your daily itineraries and make your Theme Park Reservations as soon as possible! If you choose to add the Park Hopper Option to your Ticket you can visit one, two, three, or all four Theme Parks in one day! Guests do not currently need a reservation for any Parks they plan on "hopping" to once Park Hopping hours begin at 2 p.m.
While some of these changes, such as Park Hopping beginning at 2 p.m. and Guests needing Theme Park Reservations, did arise within the past few years, I think you'll find that all the Disney magic that you're used to is still alive and well within the Resort.
Here are a few other things you might want to know before you get ready for your vacation.
Hope to see ya real soon, Janneth!
