Hello Jina. Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney.
I am so sorry to hear you have had a family emergency. I'll be happy to help you with your ticket options.
A wholly unused ticket may be reassigned to another Guest in your
Family & Friends list. I find this easiest to do in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, but you can also transfer the ticket on the
My Disney Experience website. In the app, use the menu button in the lower right corner to select "Tickets and Passes". Swipe to find the ticket you need to transfer, select "Reassign Ticket", choose a Guest in your Family & Friends list, and confirm your choice. On the website, use the My Disney Experience drop-down menu in the upper right corner to go to "My Plans" and scroll down to select "Tickets & Memory Maker" on the left, then the "Reassign Ticket" button on the right. It is important to know that a
Disney Park Pass theme park reservation is connected to the Guest, not the ticket, so once the ticket has been reassigned the new Guest will then need to make Disney Park Pass reservations.
Another option would be to change the start date of the ticket if the Guest can visit at another time. Look for the option to "Change Ticket". If selecting dates with a higher ticket cost, the Guest is responsible for paying the difference.
All admission days on a multi-day ticket must be used by the same Guest.
Once a ticket has been partially used, it may not be transferred to someone else.
I have included
contact information for the Help Center if you need additional assistance with your ticket. If you have any additional questions, please stop by planDisney again. I'm wishing you all the best with your family emergency.
