You're certainly in for a treat when you walk into the grand lobby for a stay at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The entire resort will transport you to a world that looks strikingly different from Central Florida and will make you feel right at home in the outdoors.
Bringing a baby or toddler to
Walt Disney World Resort is something I've done many times and Cast Members are always so accommodating with requests that we may have. Whether it's finding an "I'm Celebrating" button to show off our brand-new 1-year-old,
renting a stroller or like in your case, needing a safe sleeping space for baby, we know our needs will be met.
Since your stay is coming up so quickly, I'm guessing you have already confirmed your reservations. To
request a crib or Pack 'n Play you can call the
Walt Disney World Reservation line at (407) 939-1936 or simply speak to a Cast Member at the Front Desk when you are checking in for your magical vacation. I always bring my baby's own sheet or blanket from home, just so they have something that smells familiar even when they're in an unfamiliar space.
If you happen to get lucky, some Guest rooms at Disney's Wilderness Lodge have a delightful view of the
Electrical Water Pageant, a floating, light-up parade set to Disney music. One of my favorite memories with my little one was watching her face light up when she realized she could see this enchanting show right from her bed. If you can't see the lagoon from your room, no worries! You can always check out the nighttime show from the shore area of the resort. It's a nice quiet way to end a beautiful day.
