Need clarification. Can we bring on board kid life vests? Not inflatable ones. Scooters are on the prohibited list. Are all scooters prohibited? Electric and non-electric (human powered).

    Ahoy Laura!

I am glad that you cruised by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  How exciting that your vacation with Captain Mickey is so close!  It sounds like you are finalizing your packing list, so let's make sure you have what you need and save room for all of the treasures you want to bring home from your adventures.

You are welcome to bring your own life vests for your pirates-in-training if you would like.  There are life vests for all guests onboard located in your stateroom closet in the event of an onboard emergency.  For swimming in the pools or at Disney's Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line does provide complimentary use of flotation vests in several sizes so your little ones may enjoy the water while saving you room in your suitcases!  When traveling with my young ones, I was always able to find them a life vest when we needed one.

Scooters, both electric and kid-powered, are on Disney Cruise Line's prohibited items list, so you will want to leave those at home.  If your pirates still have energy to burn after some time in the youth clubs, take them up to Goofy's Sport Deck for some outdoor playtime!

I hope I've steered you in the right direction as you get ready for your high seas adventure, Laura.  Please sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before your cruise!

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
