I need to change the reservation names for an upcoming stay. My planning party is 2 and I need to keep it at 2 but change one of the people checking in. How do I do this?

Hiya, Laura! I'm so glad you found the trail of purple shells that Dory left out for you and followed it here to planDisney!

Oh boy, it looks like you'll be heading to Walt Disney World Resort in May and I couldn't be more excited for you! Spring is my favorite time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth and it leaves me feeling absolutely twitterpated. You'll be able to enjoy everything that The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration has to offer, from the celebratory sweets to the glowing nighttime Beacons of Magic in each of the parks. You'll also be able to experience my favorite festival: the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which will be blooming just in time for your visit! Be sure to look out for the character topiaries and take some time to delight in the fresh flavors of the outdoor kitchens. With so much to see and do, there's sure to be magic waiting for you around every corner!

Laura, it sounds like you're putting some finishing touches on your trip and you'd like to modify a Guest on your reservation. Happily, this change is as easy as bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! While adding or removing a Guest from your travel party can often be done online, modifying a Guest sometimes takes a little extra pixie dust. In my personal experience, the best way to make this change is to reach out to one of the wonderful Cast Members! They're a little like real-life fairy godparents who can often stretch their magic wands just a bit farther. Just have your reservation confirmation number handy before you call a Cast Member. My piece of advice would be to call first thing in the morning (7:00 EST) when the phone lines open since their magic can be in high demand.

You could also try to reach out to a Cast Member through the online Chat option. I've had the best experience when using the Chat feature through the My Disney Experience app. If you'd like to try this, log into your app and click the icon that looks like three stacked lines. Scroll down a bit and tap Chat With Us. Type in your request and a Cast Member will get back to you as soon as they are able! Pro tip: include your reservation number in your request so the Cast Member can easily find your account.

While we're speaking of the My Disney Experience app, take some time to explore everything it has to offer. It's a bit like holding a magic wand in your hand! While on vacation, you'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. I love placing my orders earlier in the day so I know my snacks and meals will be ready before I ever feel a rumbly in my tumbly. And don't forget to make Theme Park Reservations so you can be sure to visit your desired parks on the days of your trip!

Laura, I hope I was able to help you with your question. I hope you visit us again soon - after all, you've got a friend in me!

Faith, trust and pixie dust -
