Do I need to carry my actual ticket on my person if I have it linked to MyDisneyExperience app?

    Hey there, Holly!

I sometimes miss the days where I could take a quick trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth with just my friends, water bottle, and cell phone. No bag-check line for one, please!

Now that I have little ones, those days are on hold for a while, as I wander down Main Street, U.S.A. with enough snacks to feed a small army for a week.

Holly, if you are trying to MINNIE-mize what you are bringing into the park you may be able to get away with not bringing your theme park ticket, as long as you have a few other things.

Your phone will work to enter your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room, but not as your theme park ticket, so you will need to have a MagicBand that has been linked to your My Disney Experience Account.

Additionally, you will want to make sure your ticket is showing in your My Disney Experience Account and that you have the confirmation code with you, just in case you encounter any issues.

If you can, I would still recommend that you bring your physical ticket, just because going to will call or Guest Services if you run into an issue may take up valuable ride time. A Wilderness Explorer is always prepared, after all!

Please come back here to planDisney if we can answer any other questions for you.

    Adventure is out there!
