Tamie, since you must cancel your trip, I recommend you do so sooner than later. The current
Cancellation Policy states that cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the arrival date will receive a refund for all amounts owed. However, depending on the package you booked, you may be subject to any applicable cancellation fees (if you booked at a third-party hotel, for example). If you wait until 29 days to 2 days prior to your arrival to cancel, you will incur a $200 penalty per package booked. You will not receive a refund if you wait until the day before or day of your arrival to cancel.
It’s quite simple to
cancel your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation online. Log in to your
My Disney Experience account on a browser and go to your "My Plans" page. Scroll down until you see your Resort reservation listed under the "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" section. Underneath the confirmation number, you should see the words "Cancel Reservation.” Click "Cancel Reservation" and walk through the remaining steps to complete the process. If you do not see the option to cancel your reservation online, you will need to call (407) 939-1936 and speak with a helpful Cast Member for further assistance.
