Hi Jane!
Welcome to planDisney! We can never estimate how Mother Nature will behave during our visits to the Walt Disney World Resort, so I understand your concern. While my initial recommendation is always to bring a poncho, an umbrella, an extra pair of socks and plenty of patience, sometimes the weather is more than we expect. If you don’t mind a downpour, and find fun jumping in the puddles, then I recommend you head to the parks anyway!
I’m sorry to hear that you had to cancel your Disney Park Pass. When you purchase
Walt Disney World theme park tickets, they are valid for a set period. If you have a multiple day park ticket that you have already used, you will need to reschedule your
Disney Park Pass as soon as you can to utilize your ticket before it expires. If you cancel a Disney Park Pass during your stay, you will need to rebook it to access the parks during your stay. If you have an annual pass, you can reschedule your Disney Park Pass for a future date, ensuring that you consider any blackout dates associated with your pass.
I hope this helps you plan a wonderful stay at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please be sure to return and ask us any Disney vacation planning questions!
