What if I need to cancel a dining reservation

    Hey there, hi there, Christine!

I am all about the food when it comes to a Walt Disney World vacation. Sometimes, I make way more dining reservations than my family really wants. I just get so excited to try new places.

If you need to cancel a dining reservation, you should be able to do it right on your My Disney Experience app. If you go to the Future Plans tab, it will bring up your dining reservations - along with any other reservations that you have. You just have to click on the reservation you wish to cancel, and the first button on your left is a white "X" in a blue circle - that's the cancel button. You can also cancel online.

Remember that you do need to give advance notice to cancel your dining reservations, Christine. If you do need to cancel, you want to do so before 10 PM the night before so that you don't incur a cancellation fee. While some non-Disney restaurants may have different cancellation policies, the 10 PM cancellation is a good rule of thumb to follow.  If you have to cancel after that 10 o'clock deadline, you will need to call and speak with a Cast Member.

I hope you get to enjoy some amazing dining experiences during your visit, Christine!
