Isabelle,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
No, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival does not require special event tickets. You just need to have a standard theme park ticket to enter
EPCOT so you can enjoy all the yummy goodness! You will also need a
theme park reservation for EPCOT or be park hopping from another park.
Now that you know your ticket needs, the next step is to explore the menus and entertainment for the festival. I love the
Foodie Guide that just posted on the Disney Parks Blog. It is helpful to have a comprehensive list of food and beverages by booth, and the photos help me get started deciding what to try this year. I also like to visit the Disney Food Blog. It is not an official Disney site, but I love to see some of the new items that AJ has discovered.
BONUS TIPFor those who have not been back to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival in several years, you might just be thinking about walking around the World Showcase to try things out. But know that so many new food stalls are now anchored in the other half of EPCOT, offering some amazing culinary creations. A great example is the Smoked Corned Beef with crispy potatoes, cheese curds, pickled onions, and beer-cheese fondue from the
Flavors from Fire booth. It is located over near the
Test Track. Of course, back in the World Showcase you can try anything from the
Belgium booth. If it comes from Belgium, you know it must be good!
Please, please, please
write me back if you have any follow-up questions about the festival. I love to chat about food!
Have a Magical (and delicious) Vacation!
Doug
