    Do I need to bring the kids ID? Do they check the age when purchasing tickets? Would rather leave it at home, so it doesn't get lost?

    Hi Janice,

    I have been traveling to the Walt Disney World Resorts with my children since they were two and four, and I have never had to show their identification at the parks. I have had to show my identification when my annual pass got deactivated and they wanted to make sure I was the person listed on the ticket.

    Disney is hoping that guests integrity will come into play when purchasing tickets for guests. 

    Now you do not say how old your children are, and if you are flying or driving to Walt Disney World. If you are flying and you have a teenager, you will need to check with your individual airline carrier if they require photo identification for security purposes.

    Otherwise, you can leave your children's identification at home.
