Welcome to planDisney, Joeyne! I see that you have already arrived at The Most Magical Place On Earth, so let’s get right to your question so you can start enjoying the Theme Parks!
If you have already linked your Theme Park Tickets to your My Disney Experience app and have downloaded them to your phone’s digital wallet through the Disney MagicMobile Service, you will not need the Key to the World card with you.
To link your Theme Park Tickets to your My Disney Experience app on your mobile device, use the following steps:
- Navigate to the menu by tapping the three horizontal line icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select “My Tickets & Passes.”
- Select “Link Tickets & Passes,” or if you don’t see that option, click the (+) in the top right corner, then “Link Tickets & Passes.”
- Choose how you would like to create the link to the ticket: using your phone's camera, tapping, or typing in the ticket ID number.
Next, you will want to set up Disney MagicMobile by doing the following:
- Navigate to the menu by tapping the three horizontal line icon in the bottom right corner.
- Scroll to the Disney Account section and select “Set Up MagicMobile Entry.”
- Review the benefits of Disney MagicMobile (enter theme parks, charge select purchases to your Disney Resort hotel, etc.) and “Set Up Your Pass.”
- Follow the instructions to choose your pass style and add it to your Apple or Google digital wallet.
*It is important to know that Express Mode is enabled for Apple users when you add the pass to your wallet. This allows you to hold your device to the touchpoint without opening your wallet or unlocking your device. Android users will need to unlock their devices before using their MagicMobile pass.
Remember to consider purchasing a MagicBand+ throughout your vacation. Once linked to your MyDisney account, you can use the band to access the parks, open your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room, make purchases, and interact with select attractions and experiences!
