do i need to bring the birth certificate for my 2 1/2 year old son so that i do not have to pay for him ?

    Jeniffer,

When we came with my youngest daughter when she was just 2 1/2, we did bring a copy, just in case. We were never asked for it, and never had to show it.

Basically Disney seems to show a sense of trust in this matter. I would always recommend bringing a copy, just in case, but assume you will not need to use it. At most I would only expect to show it at the resort desk, and I would never carry it around with me all day long.

But as a rule, they are pretty savvy at figuring out what kids are under 3, and which are older. If you are like me, and have a copy laying around, I would pack it and leave it in the resort room, just in case. If getting it would be a big hassle, I think you will be fine and should not worry about it.

    Have a magical vacation!
