Ahoy, Angie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm excited to hEAR you'll be enjoying a San Diego sailing on the
Disney Wonder! This vessel has so much to offer that I don't blame you for wanting to squeak out as much vacation time aboard as you possibly can. Disney Cruise Line recommends flights out of the San Diego International Airport no earlier than 11:45 a.m. As you look at flights, let me share a sneak peek of your last morning onboard.
Breakfast will be served in the main dining rooms with your dining team. You'll actually dine in the venue you enjoyed your last dinner on the previous night. If you have main seating dinner (5:45 p.m.) during your sailing, you'll eat around 6:45 or 7:00 a.m. Second seating Guests (8:15 p.m.) eat around 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. All Guests are asked to leave their staterooms around 8:00 a.m. so cabins can be cleaned for the next sailing. There are a few public areas open around the ship if you want to wait until 9:30 a.m. when all Guests are asked to debark. Once you leave the ship, you'll need to plan time to locate your luggage and pass through U.S. Customs and Border Protection. I always plan around 30 to 40 minutes for this, but it can vary depending on how many Guests are leaving at the same time. The good news is the airport is very close to the
Port of San Diego.
Angie, I hope this helps! If we can answer any additional questions, please write back. In the meantime, enjoy dreaming of your "WONDER"ful voyage!
