Hi Irene!
Thanks for visiting planDisney! April is a great time to come and visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Springtime brings warmer weather, flowers blooming and birds chirping, and of course, the chance to visit the Water Parks. At Disney's
Blizzard Beach, you can enjoy such thrill rides as
Summit Plummet and
Teamboat Springs. Or if you prefer a more relaxing approach, you can spend your time in an inner tube as you wind down
Cross Country Creek. At
Typhoon Lagoon, you'll find you can't resist taking a dip in the
Surf Pool, North America's largest wave pool! Be sure to hold onto your kiddos, as those waves can definitely pack a punch!
Irene, although you do need a Disney Park Pass reservation for the four theme parks, you'll be happy to know that reservations are not required for either of the water parks. Just be sure to have a valid admission ticket. At both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, Guests can book umbrellas for a fee before arrival by calling
Tours and Recreation, who may be able to assist you in booking either
Typhoon Lagoon Umbrellas or
Lodge Umbrellas. Another option is to contact the
Walt Disney Travel Company and ask to speak to a Cast Member who may be able to help get you to the right place.
Hope this helps you plan a most magical vacation!
Malanie
