    Do I need to be in a boarding group to ride Rise of the Resistance during evening extra magic hours in Hollywood Studios? We are resort guests and planning on taking advantage of evening extra magic hours on February 23rd. Thanks for the help!

    Hi Rebeca!  Thank you for bringing your question to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Extra Magic Hours are just one of many perks and benefits offered to Guests of Disney Resort Hotels.  Each day, one theme park will be open either earlier or later than the scheduled operating hours.  Extra Magic Hours are a great way to enjoy participating attractions with shorter wait times and help Guests get the most magic from their day by giving them extra time to enjoy the theme parks.

    At this time, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is not available during Extra Magic Hours.  Guests who would like to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will need to join a virtual queue and will be assigned to a Boarding Group.  The Boarding Group process begins at the scheduled park opening time.  Guests may join a Boarding Group through the My Disney Experience mobile app and will receive a notification when their Boarding Group is called to experience the attraction.  I recommend planning to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios in plenty of time to go through security screening and have entered the park gates by the scheduled park opening time.  Boarding Groups fill quickly, and Guests who arrive after the scheduled park opening time may find that all Boarding Groups have already been distributed for the day.

    Many other popular attractions will be available to enjoy during evening Extra Magic Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios, including Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Toy Story Mania!, Slinky Dog Dash, and more.
