Hiya Hamirah, and welcome to planDisney! Oh, boy you've just described a practically perfect 2-day visit to Walt Disney World! I'm honored and excited to help you plan this, so let's get started.
Although my family doesn't usually have park hopper, our recent trip found us utilizing this terrific add-on to our tickets. I was thrilled with how much Disney fun we were able to pack into our vacation. I'm confident you'll do the same, and make incredible memories during your "4 Parks, 2 Days" extravaganza!
Ok, first we need to chat about food... because it's one of the Best. Things. Ever!! I find sticking with quick service dining options is the best choice for park hopping days, or shorter visits. It's more flexible, takes less time than a table service restaurant, and allows you to eat whenever you're hungry. Have the My Disney Experience app installed, so you can check menus and place a
mobile food order to save time standing in line.
The
Parks Operating Calendar shows EPCOT and Magic Kingdom are open the exact same hours on your first day. Both have wonderful evening fireworks shows, but Happily Ever After has my heart! So I recommend starting at EPCOT bright and early. If you like thrill rides, consider purchasing a
Lightning Lane Single Pass to ride the popular Guardians of the Galaxy. It's such a blast! Other highlights I recommend include swinging through Moana's
Journey of Water, the Land pavilion to enjoy both Soarin' and Living With the Land, then strolling the World Showcase for some shopping and eating. Fresh caramel popcorn from Germany's
Karamell-Küche wins my Best EPCOT Snack Award... so don't forget to try some, Hamirah!
Next, you'll hop on the monorail from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom for the second part of your adventure. You can check attraction wait times in the My Disney Experience app, which may help you decide where to head first. Don't forget to stake out a great viewing location for the fireworks show nice and early... preferably somewhere you can take in the projections on the front of the castle. For dinner, the flatbread pizzas at Pinocchio Village Haus are delicious.
Because this park closes earlier, day two will be "rope drop" at Animal Kingdom! To make the most of your time, try to arrive 30-60 minutes prior to official opening time. Start in Asia, where the Expedition Everest line should be short, and you can start your day with a burst of adrenaline. Or two. Or three, if you dare! Next head to Africa where must-do's include the fantastic Festival of the Lion King show, and riding Kilimanjaro Safaris. Finally, wrap things up in Pandora, where you just have to try a fresh bowl creation at the delicious Satu'li Canteen for lunch. Soooo good!
Time to head to Hollywood Studios, so hop on a Disney bus that will take you directly there. This park is where I tell friends to consider purchasing a Lightning Lane Multi Pass. There are so many excellent attractions in this park! This will allow you to pre-select 3 of your top attractions, so you're guaranteed to experience some of your favorites. You can select later reservation times, so when you park hop here in the afternoon you've got fun ready and waiting for you. My favorite quick service dining here is Docking Bay 7 in Galaxy's Edge. Super tasty!
Hamirah, I'm sending pixie dust your way. Please visit us again at planDisney any time with your questions.
Go. Live your dream.
