Need advice FAST! Making ADRs 2morrow & not sure if we should try Spirit of A dinner our 1st nite. We have done all the other dinner shows, but have not read or heard great things about SoA? Do we try it or go to CRT again? We have 3 kids,8,5,3. T

    Hi Michelle,

I liked the Spirit of Aloha show. It was fast paced and entertaining. The food was plentiful and had great flavor. My children were eight and six when we saw it and they had a nice time as well.  This show can be postponed due to the weather as the stage is outdoors. The Polynesian Resort is beautiful and it is nice to leave the parks to eat at one of the resorts.

However, I do not know if I would book it for the first night I was on vacation especially if it a travel day. I try and leave this day as open ended as possible because we have been on the go since early in the morning. At the same time, I also do not book any dinner experience I can not cancel at the last second at the end of the vacation either as we may just not want to do it.

Have you tried 1900 Park Fare for dinner? I have to tell you this dinner buffet is under rated. While Cinderella and Prince Charming are there, Lady Tremaine and her daughters are awesome. You feel like you are at their house for dinner and they are not nice. The buffet is also smaller with more elite selection of food but the children's menu is standard fare. I would go again in a heartbeat!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
