Hi Rachel,
Your trip is just around the river bend! I bet you and your other Guests are so excited to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon. Here is my advice on potentially adding one more person to your trip.
To visit a Disneyland Resort park, you will need both a
theme park ticket and a
reservation. Before purchasing a ticket, check the
reservation availability calendar. If your preferred date has availability, then great – you may move forward with ticket purchasing and reservation confirmation. If not, keep checking the availability. Reservations can sometimes open up last minute, even the night before or the morning of a trip. If a reservation becomes available, make sure to move forward with the ticket purchase immediately to make sure you can secure the ticket and reservation.
And while I have you here, I want to share a tip on
dining with a group. If you are interested in dining at one of the table-service restaurants for a nice sit-down meal, the
Disneyland Mobile App has the option to add yourself to the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability. You just need to be close to the restaurant to add your name to a virtual dining queue. Once on the list, you can explore the nearby areas until you are alerted on your phone that a table is ready for you.
Have a magical time,
Lola
