It’s so
cool to see you back at planDisney, Linda!
That is a
fan-tastic question! I am not a very big fan of rising temperatures, and I like to be extra prepared when it comes to the Florida heat when my family and I go to our
Walt Disney World Resort vacations! By staying hydrated, visiting the
Theme Parks in the mornings and evenings, grabbing a Mickey Premium Ice Cream bar or two, and taking breaks, we’re able to beat the Florida heat! Nowadays, I also pack extra face masks and as the day progresses, it feels refreshing to go wash my face and don a fresh face mask!
Linda, I can tell you from experience I have used neck fans in the Parks and have had no problems. As long as you’re following other current policies like wearing a face covering that is required for all Guests (ages 2 and up), it should be fine! In fact, having the neck fan while wearing my mask has been quite helpful! It’s the next best thing to having Olaf following me around the Parks.
In case you’re wondering,
here is the page for General Walt Disney World Property Rules which will list prohibited items. Along with that, you can check out
Return to the Magic, which has a list of top things you should know to prepare for your visit at this time, such as making sure to have your
Disney Park Pass reservations.
With all this talk about preparing for the heat, I found some items at shopDisney.com that
blew me away! I thought I’d share the
Mickey Mouse Lollipop Fan and the
Mickey Mouse and Friends Disney Parks Misting Fan! Both come with straps and are adorable!
Linda, here’s to a 100% chance of a magical vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
